Yes. The tab editor, the player, real-time collaboration, the tuner, the metronome and the BPM detector are free to use. AI transcription — Audio → Tab — is part of Cesure Pro, because each conversion runs on our servers.
No. Cesure runs in your browser, on desktop and mobile. Native iOS and Android apps are in preparation — until they ship, the web app is the way in, and it is the full app, not a preview.
Not to start — open the app and edit straight away. An account syncs your progress across devices and is required for the AI conversions.
It is a starting point, not a finished score. Clean, single-instrument recordings give the best results; dense mixes and heavy distortion are harder. You get an editable tab to refine rather than a transcription you must accept as-is — which is still far faster than starting from a blank score.
