By downloading or using the Cesure app, you fully agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app.

Cesure is free to download and use. Its core tools — tuner, BPM detector, metronome, tablature editor, and more — are available at no cost. Some features require Cesure Pro, an optional paid subscription described below. The app is designed for personal use. Creating an account is optional and only required to access certain features.

App Usage:

  • Cesure offers features such as instrument tuning, BPM detection, a metronome, and a tablature editor. Some features require access to your device's microphone. For example, the tuner and BPM detector use the microphone to analyze audio input.
  • For an optimal experience, it is recommended to allow microphone access. Disabling this permission may limit the app's functionality.
  • If you link an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude to your account, it acts at your request within what you allowed on the linking page — seeing, reading and saving scores — and you can unlink it at any time from the "Me" screen. What that assistant does with your scores falls under its provider's own terms.

Subscription (Cesure Pro):

  • Cesure Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks these paid features: AI audio-to-tablature conversion beyond the free monthly quota, the library beyond 3 saved scores, MIDI, MusicXML, AlphaTex and WAV export of a score, and PDF export without the watermark. Everything else is free, including the .cesure format and the watermarked PDF.
  • It is offered as a monthly or an annual plan. The price is displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by country; the amount charged is the one shown at checkout.
  • The purchase is processed by the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android), or Stripe (web) and billed to that account. Cesure never receives or stores your payment details.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before that date.
  • You may cancel or manage it at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from the billing portal for a purchase made on the web. Cancelling stops future renewals; access remains until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by the store that processed the purchase, according to its own policy.

Intellectual Property:

  • The Cesure app and all its content — including trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights — remain the exclusive property of Cesure.
  • You are prohibited from copying, modifying, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works of the app without explicit authorization from Cesure.

Data and Security:

  • Cesure sends anonymous crash and error reports so that we can fix what breaks: through Firebase on Android and iOS, through Sentry on the web. If you opt in, usage analytics is collected through Firebase; it carries neither your email address nor your account identifier, and the same choice governs advertising storage, as our Privacy Policy describes.   • If you create an account, your email address and authentication credentials are stored via Supabase. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Although we strive to ensure the app is secure and up-to-date, you are responsible for your device's security.
  • Our Privacy Policy describes the third parties that process data for us and what each one receives; that description is kept up to date there, and these Terms do not repeat it.

Modifications and Updates:

  • Cesure reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of the app at any time.
  • Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.

Termination:

  • Cesure reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms.

Updates to These Terms:

  • We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
